Hayek in Meet the Press, 1975

Please check out the relevance of this 1975 recording by yourselves:

Hayek in Meet the Press (MP3)

In 1974, Hayek had won the Nobel Prize. In 1979, Margaret Thatcher became the Prime-Minister of the UK. According to the wikipedia,
Shortly after Thatcher became Leader of the party, she “reached into her briefcase and took out a book. It was Friedrich von Hayek's The Constitution of Liberty .... she held the book up for all of us to see. ‘This’, she said sternly, ‘is what we believe’, and banged Hayek down on the table.”
